Smorgasbored's board of LA
I live in Los Angeles. More specifically, my apartment rests at the nexus of North Hollywood, Studio City, and Toluca Lake. But to the outsider, it's LA. LA's a collage of people and places and things. So here's an album of pictures to help display the kaleidoscope and aid in the exploration. Many into one.
Out the window while relaxing in Echo Park. Well, we're relaxing even though it's not shown, so picture us relaxed too for a more complete image.
It's winter, can't you tell? Beautiful (aside from that one brown strip of smog).
Though the weather might seem to preclude it, we still celebrate Christmas in Southern California.
Really cool place, forever known to me as the location of my engagement, but in addition to that, really cool place.
It's root, root, root, for the, home team... I guess, they're in the same league as the Brewers but not the same division, maybe it depends on the current standings...ok, that's too much thought, Go Dodgers!
Dodger Stadium behind, city of Los Angeles ahead, cool people in between.
As far as stairs go, these are a little exciting.
Out the window to look at the urban jungle.
View on Christmas in Eagle Rock California. Bone chillingly cold (not really).
The path to the Farmer's Market sometimes shows how emotions end up outweighing more useful thought processes.
We procured this from the Farmer's Market. At first I felt disgusted finding a creature in my food, but then, after some contemplation I revised my opinion. Another living creature can live off the same food as me? Isn't that desirable? Isn't that the point?
House sitting and relaxing in North Hollywood. The spring weather clearly differentiates it from the biting winter that preceded.
Bridge to the Farmer's Market.
Looking back at the bridge to the Farmer's Market. So pretty it's almost enough to make someone want to walk there. Ok, it's really not. It's actually a long walk but at least this tiny bit provides a little something pleasing.
Tasty birthday cakes to celebrate two birthdays on the same day.
Fourth of July!
I don't know where this was which just goes to show something cool may appear anywhere.
